My Journey

My fascination with the human experience began as a wallflower in high school, where I became captivated by other people’s behavior and motives. This early interest in understanding why we are the way we are has guided my academic journey and fueled my passion for becoming a relational and sex therapist.

I grew up in a sex-positive household where my curiosity and excitement towards anything sex-related was nurtured. However, I soon noticed the disparity between how I was raised and how my fellow peers were raised on anything to do with sex. Because of this, I took (and still take) great pride and joy over being a trusted confidant to my peers about sex. This experience has fueled my commitment to creating a sex-positive environment, aiming to reduce stigma and misinformation.

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Mindfulness-based practices, I am committed to fostering emotional safety and genuine connection, empowering you to navigate life’s complexities with resilience and self-awareness. My goal is to create a secure and compassionate environment where you feel truly heard and supported. In this space, you can openly explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change with confidence and care.

I’m a proud gamer girl and cat mom who loves to cuddle with my three cats. I stay active with Pilates and indoor rock climbing and love dancing and singing my heart out. I cherish moments with family and friends and, as a Southern Californian, I thrive in the sunshine but also enjoy cozy indoor days (with my cats, of course) when it’s rainy. You’ll often find me belting out show tunes and pop hits on my way to work.
