The relationship we build as teammates through the process of therapy can establish trust and understanding that translates towards positive outcomes in your lived experience. I work to enhance that relationship through compassionate listening, validation, and encouragement through exploring the person within. As your therapist, I will create a space that feels safe, which will allow the journey of understanding your relationships and sexuality to feel protected. Our work together will allow you to be confronted with the difficult questions and experiences life has presented while navigating these with a therapist who looks to create wholeness with their client.
Throughout our time together, you will feel accepted, appreciated, challenged, and validated. This journey will enhance your understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the intersectionality of who you are. I look forward to working with you.

My Journey
Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to experience a multitude of relationships with the individuals around me. Understanding the dynamics in which we all interact has been a curiosity that has followed me throughout the course of my life. These dynamics change depending on each individual we add into an encounter and with each change in topic discussed. Each person has their own identity that enhances the intricacies of that dynamic based on one’s culture, sexuality, gender identity, race, religion, etc.. It’s because of these intersectionalities within that dynamic that sparked my interest in becoming a therapist.
As I’ve grown, my interest in sexuality and relationships has only grown into providing services centered around those topics. The honesty and vulnerability needed to find acceptance and appreciation with these aspects of self are of the utmost importance. I find it a true honor to have the opportunity to help others navigate this journey.
Engaging in the therapeutic process allowed me the opportunity to uncover my sense of self and truly accept who I am and want to be. As a queer man, navigating my sexuality has been a lifelong journey that has enhanced that sense of self and continues to challenge who I see in the mirror. It is this perspective that allows me to engage with clients from a sense of curiosity and empathy.
When I am not engaging with clients, I enjoy going on hikes with my two dogs, Thor and Loki, as well as my partner. I also enjoy discovering new Portland experiences, going to the movies, reading books, and listening to music at the loudest possible setting.
